The Miss America Organization is anticipating electing a finalist at the 2013 Miss America Competition. Broadcasting live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on Saturday, January 12, 2013 on ABC, there will be a total of 53 contestants, showing off their style and personality and explaining why they should be chosen as the next Miss America!

University of Kansas student, Sloane Lewis, Miss Kansas 2012
These five ladies will have 48 more contestants to compete against in the upcoming journey to claim the title of Miss America 2013.
